Oat Honey Clusters

This nutritiously oat honey clusters will give you plenty of energy to start the day on a high. They are healthier version of what you normally buy in the shop. You can enjoy them just with milk or Greek yoghurt and some yummy fruit

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 160g oats

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 3 tbsp smooth peanut butter (natural, no palm oil)

  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Method:

  1. Preheat the over to 180°C/160°C fan/350F/gas 4 and line a medium baking tray with baking paper. Mix the oats and cinnamon together in medium bowl and set aside.

  2. Gently heat the peanut butter, honey and coconut oil together in a small pan, until it’s all completely melted. Pour it over the oats and combine well.

  3. Tip the granola mixture onto the baking tray and spread evenly, pressing it firmly to help it stick together.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until the oats is golden brown and slightly dry to the touch. Switch off the oven, leave the door ajar and let the granola sit in the cooling oven for another hour.

  5. Remove from the oven and leave out for another hour to dry out completely.

  6. Once it’s all cooled, break the oats into small clusters.
